February 4th Feast of Our Capuchin Saint Joseph of Leonessa
Wednesday, 04 February 2015
Almost martyred, offering himself in exchange for the freedom of slaves, known as the companion killer for his indefatigable missionary zeal that often left other brothers gasping in his wake, climbing mountains barefoot and a deep contemplative and miracle worker to boot; our brother, St. Joseph of Leonessa, deserves to be more widely known! The pictures show St. Joseph in life and his Relics now preserved in one of our friaries.
It’s his feast today and you can read all about him here at one of the blogs kept by our own Brother Tom.
