The Centre for Padre Pio now open in The Capuchin Friary Church Street Dublin
Welcome to the Irish Centre for Padre Pio
The Irish Office for Padre Pio, affiliated with the Capuchin Friary of Our Lady of Graces, San Giovanni Rotondo, was founded by Eileen Maguire in the 1970’s. Over the years, the office helped to promote the cause for the canonization of Padre Pio of Pietrelcina. Pope St. John Paul II canonized Padre Pio in 2002 and today, devotion to the saint continues.
In 2018, Eileen Maguire and the Capuchin Provincial Minister in Ireland agreed to move the Irish Office for Padre Pio from Dufferin Avenue to the Capuchin Friary, Church St, Dublin 7.
The Capuchin Friary, Church Street is home to the National Shrine of Saint Padre Pio and we have two prayer group Masses there; first Thursday of the Month at 3.00 p.m. and the Thursday after the third Sunday of each month at 7.30 p.m.
The Irish Centre office is staffed Monday to Friday from 9.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. and 2.00 p.m. to 5.00 p.m. Tel +353 1 8730599 and +353 1 4536359 or see www.padrepio.ie.
